Keeping fit has been identified as a way of boosting efficiency at the workplace.

You can do desk exercises at work without even leaving your chair or the privacy of your office. An office job is no longer an excuse for skipping your workout.

In the fast-paced world that we live in today, people have challenges creating time for many important things. One of them, which experts say has had a negative impact on the finances of many people worldwide, is exercise. Numerous research results have linked a lack of exercise to several health problems, which people are spending billions to treat every day. Despite this, many workers today say they have no time to hit the gym or the road for a workout.

2015: Christian or Muslim governor for Lagos?

There is a campaign currently going on in Lagos State. Its drumbeat is beginning to reach a crescendo in recent times. As the race for the 2015 general elections gathers momentum, the question of who succeeds the incumbent governor, Babatunde Fashola, has become the subject of intense public speculation. The governor, who is on the final lap of his second term tenure, will quit office in 2015. Thus, it is not surprising that the debate of who replaces him will become the subject of public interest. The succession brouhaha in Lagos is not totally unexpected. Lagos, with a population of 25 million inhabitants, is perhaps the only Nigerian city with global acclaim. It has also over the years grown to be Nigeria’s most important state. Its massive internally generated revenue, about N17bn; a huge commercial and industrial base coupled with its being a former federal capital city make it a coveted state among the political elite in the country. That is why Lagos has been the theatre of fierce political battles–the struggle for its political dominance peaked since the return to democracy in 1999.

What electronic gadgets can do to you

A gadget is a device or appliance having a unique purpose and function. At the time of their invention, gadgets are often way ahead in terms of novelty and uniqueness. This is what makes them so desirable and ‘cool.’

That modern gadgets have changed the world is an understatement. No one wants to go back to the days of no television, no Internet and definitely no cell phone.

Each day, tech companies churn out the latest versions of laptops and mobile phones, while household and kitchen appliances are not left out.

While it is easy to get caught up in the rave of the moment, there is increasing scientific evidence linking ‘electropollution’ to the rise in cancer, birth defects, fibromyalgia, Alzheimer’s disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, depression, learning disabilities and even Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Before you do breast implant

That men obsess over women’s bust is no news. Indeed, Nigerian Juju megastar, King Sunny Ade, might have unwittingly lent credence to this when, in a media interview, he confessed that for a woman to turn him on, she must be heavily endowed in the chest area.

He even composed a number around the issue when, in one of his tracks, he said a woman’s true beauty lies in the denseness of her breasts.

It’s not only men that obsess over women’s breasts, though. The average woman also considers them something of a treasure; while those in showbiz virtually see them as their unique selling point — wrongly or rightly.
