Last weekend marked a special phase in the Nigerian music industry as the period ushered in yet another festival.

Titled Five star music festival, the event that took place at the Golden Tulip Hotel, FESTAC Town, saw veteran musicians, King Sunny Ade, Onyeka Onwenu, Bright Chimezie, Bongos Igwe, Ras Kimono and a host of others, receiving awards for their contribution to the growth of the music industry in Nigeria.

Federal government has been called upon to urgently stem the tide of medical tourism in the country because it is gradually killing healthcare in Nigeria. A Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon from the United Kingdom, Dr. Segun Abudu decried the penchant of government officials to jet out of the country for common illnesses that could be handled perfectly in Nigeria.
