Is the prediction that Nigeria will disintegrate by 2015 coming to reality?

HOW has Nigeria degenerated to this low level of animal behaviour of killing one another across the country? Nigerian leaders appear helpless. When as a people we collectively surrendered our sovereignty to the state to take care of all, it is the expectation that the state will protect us all. It will act in the best interest of all of us. Nigerians are afraid of their safety in almost every part of the country and the North East in particular. At a time, many well meaning Nigerians thought that the problem was about corruption and power failure, but now insecurity has taken over.

Meals inspired by ancestors satisfy appetite, combat obesity, diabetes – STUDY

A new clinical study by Unilever scientists have shown that meals rich in nutrients and fibre inspired by palaeolithic ancestors are better at satisfying the appetite than a regular meal and could also help combat obesity and even type 2 diabetes.

A small band of Australian-based United supporters have created a website where fans can help raise funds to bring back their old favourite, who has a £100million buyout clause, from Real Madrid.
The 'BringRonaldoHome' movement has already received thousands of pledges to buy a United shirt with Ronaldo on it - however it needs 10 million to donate a tenner for this target to be reached.

Alarmed by the grim prospects of the declaration of a state of emergency by the Presidency in five of their states, Northern elders are converging on Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, with a view to taking far-reaching decisions to halt such a move, which they see as punitive.

Meanwhile as the northern leaders were putting heads together to come up with a decision, the 36 state governors under the aegis, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, yesterday, urged President Goodluck Jonathan to ignore those agitating for state of emergency in some troubled states.

Several Facebook friends of President Goodluck Jonathan, on Wednesday, described the state of emergency rule declared in Adamawa, Borno and Yobo states as “partial.”

Although the majority of them applauded the President for taking the decision, they said the presence of political office holders in the affected states might undermine the effectiveness of the measure.

They argued that the political office holders in the states should step down pending the time that normalcy will return to their respective domains.
