Jose Mourinho Has Agreed Terms With Chelsea

There have been many rumours lately concerning Jose Mourinho. Many have spoken of his potential return to Stamford Bridge, some of his departure to Old Trafford. Others claim a move to Paris, while others say he will have a surprising arrival at the Etihad Stadium. The newspapers today reported that The Special One has agreed terms to return to Stamford Bridge.

This might prove to be the right time to return to the bridge for Mourinho. He built a wonderful and complete team that went on to win all relevant trophies in club
football. That team has died, with its survivors currently marginalized by one power or an other. Rafael Benitez does not judge Captain John Terry as a main team player, neither does he truly value the worth of Frank Lampard. The club refused to give Ashley Cole a contract longer then one year. Lampard is yet to be offered a contract. John Obi Mikel does not need to worry about his contract, yet he has also become a peripheral player under Benitez.

Chelsea FC is in a rebuilding phase. Who better then Jose Mourinho to oversee that construction? The club currently has some of the best footballers in Europe on its payroll but are still struggling to win games, even against the likes of Southampton. The Blues need Mourinho now more then ever. With players like Kevin De Bruyne, Thibaut Courtois, Romelu Lukaku, Josh Mceachran doing so well away on loan Chelsea's future looks bright. Those players need a coach who can help them develop and become great players.

Manchester City's Roberto Mancini can rest easy now that Jose Mourinho is not on the short list to replace him. Manchester United fans can keep calm and wish because Mourinho is a blue.

In an other country not so far away; Paris Saint Germain are said to want The Special One. It is hard to understand why they would want to replace their current manager. Carlo Ancelloti has managed that team successfully. He failed to win silverware in his first season but in his second season his team are a run away leaders. They did well in the Champions League this season. If given the chance they should put up a serious challenge for the Champions League title next season.

This remains a rumour until there is a notice on the Chelsea FC's official website, a press release or any other way the club wishes to make the announc
