Eaglets beat Mali 2-0, win U17 World Cup

Nigeria retain the FIFA U-17 World Cup with a 2-0 win against Mali in Vina Del Mar. According to FIFA.com,Victor Osimhen stole the show once again thanks to his record-breaking tenth goal of the tournament, with Funsho Bamgboye adding a second moments later. Samuel Diarra had saved an early Osinachi Ebere penalty as the Malians played their part in an entertaining finale to Chile 2015.

His decision comes following the sudden death of his father, a man he never truly knew… yet a man very popular in his village as the iconic Lagos taxi driver, Akanmu.

Wife accused of hiring assassins to kill her husband so she could inherit his wealth


Mr Polycarp Okumu, a Mombasa based tycoon has taken his wife to court after she hired hit-men to murder him so that she can inherit his wealth. Ms Rose Adhiambo and her house help, Ms Doris Akinyi, allegedly hired hitmen to kill Mr Okumu at Beach Road estate in Mombas. She was detained by police for 10 days.

New Ooni makes grand entrance into Ife ahead of his coronation


The Ooni of Ife designate, Prince Adeyeye Ogunwusi, this afternoon made a grand entrance into the ancient city of Ile Ife in Osun state ahead of his coronation as the 51st Ooni of Ife. He takes over from Oba Okunade Sijuwade who died in July. Ogunwusi was received at the Ife Ibadan Tollgate.

Injured Deer wanders into hospital Emergency Room


Emergency room employees at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York, were shocked when an injured deer entered the hospital on Monday afternoon.
The deer arrived just as an ambulance crew was taking in a patient, according to TWCNews.com.
The deer managed to get in about 20 feet into the ER before security corralled it, strapped it to a stretcher, and carried it out.
